“My wildest dreams are coming true! I went into the first Lovin’ Arms location back in 2012 when it was a tiny 1,700 square foot shop that sold FISH! I quickly became Carol’s very first employee. At the time I had no idea that the store would become my forever home. In 2016 Carol moved our store into the 5,000 square foot building that now stands in downtown St. George. Customers would ask, ‘Are you the owner?’ to which I’d always reply, ‘No, but hopefully one day!’ Well… ‘one day’ is finally here. I am officially the owner of the largest independent pet store in Utah and I couldn’t feel more grateful!”

Emily Dannenhauer, Pack Member
Emily is originally from Idaho, but is now a student at Dixie State! She’s an only child, so pets were always her closest friends while growing up. Since moving to St. George, she started volunteering at P.A.W.S. Rescue and recently adopted the best dog in the world from them, Miss Millie. She’s fortunate to be able to bring her to work with her at Lovin’ Arms Pet Center, except when she tries to sneak a bully stick! She loves her job and the customers (both human and their buddies). Her love for animals motivates her to learn everything she can to ensure they live happy and healthy lives!

Jessica Nielson, Groomer
Jessica absolutely loves being a pet groomer. As long as she can remember she has always wanted a career working with animals. She moved to St. George when she was 10 and was able to volunteer at the Washington City Shelter. This was very rewarding to her and only increased her desire to work with animals. She has worked in the grooming business for several years as a bather and assistant groomer. In 2014 she was able to attend Stylin’ Pets Academy in Logan, Utah, and became a certified pet groomer. Grooming dogs is her passion and she takes pride in what she does. She firmly believe that pets are an important part of the family and should be treated as such. She enjoy meeting the customers and getting to know them. She says, “Everyone has their thing and grooming is mine.” She also has the privilege of being a wife to a wonderful husband, a mother to a happy 2 year old boy and a sweet Goldendoodle named Nala.
